State Agents Arrest Chillicothe Man On Child Porn Charges

UPDATED: Thursday February 14, 2013 7:42 AM

A Chillicothe man was arrested on child porn charges on Tuesday after state agents served a search warrant at his home.

According to the Attorney General’s office, William B. Noble, 48, was arrested after agents with Bureau of Criminal Investigation served a search warrant at his home, located on North Pohlman Road.

Officials began investigating Noble after obtaining evidence that he disseminated and possessed child porn.

According to the AG’s office, agents confiscated several computers and other media devices from the Noble’s home, and initial investigation revealed that he may have been in possession of hundreds of photos and videos.

Investigators also said they believed some of the alleged evidence could contain images of local children that were taken without their knowledge.

"Those children are re-victimized every single time the image is possessed, is looked at, is traded," said Nicole Dehner, BCI Crimes Against Children Unit.

Noble currently is being held at the Ross County Jail on eight charges of pandering obscenity involving a minor.

AG Mike DeWine asked parents in a statement on Wednesday to talk with their children to find out if they had any contact with Noble.

Anyone with information about the case should call the Bureau of Criminal Investigation at 855-BCI-OHIO or the Chillicothe Police Department at 740-773-1191.
