The Ohio Highway Patrol said one woman was killed in a crash at the intersection of U.S. Route 23 and Linn-Hipsher Road on Monday just after 4:30 p.m.

Betty Stone, 70, was pronounced dead at Marion General Hospital.

The OHP said that the preliminary investigation indicates that Stone failed to yield for traffic while attempting to cross U.S. 23.

Her Dodge Neon was hit by a Ford F-150 truck driven by Joseph Weiler, 77, of Bucyrus. Weiler and his wife, Lois, were both transported to the hospital with injuries from the crash.
