A woman was rescued from a car in retention pond along Interstate 71 Sunday night.
The Fayette County Sheriff's Office said the car was found partly submerged in the water around 10:30 p.m.
A dive team responded to help carry out the rescue. The Jefferson Township Fire Dept. assisted.
Authorities only indicated that the woman's condition was stable when she was transported to a hospital Sunday night.
