Police said on Sunday that they had identified the man found dead in a Dumpster on Friday.
Nathan P. Birdsall, 32, was discovered by a person going through the trash Friday afternoon near Sierra Ridge and Ponderosa Drivevs.
The cause of Birdsall's death has not been determined.
Police said the investigation into the death is still underway.
