A child who fell through an icy pond on the city's southeast side died on Sunday.
A news release indicated Elijah Walker passed away at Nationwide Children's Hospital at 5:15 p.m.
The five year old was pulled from a pond by firefighters at Eastland On The Lakes apartments Thursday night.
James Jenkins, 30, jumped into the water and tried to save the child, but died that night.
