Columbus Police Searching For Hit-Skip Driver

A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on the city's south side around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The driver struck the woman on Parsons Ave. at East Woodrow Ave. Witnesses told police the impact sent her flying about six to eight feet.

The driver did not stop.

Medics took the victim to Grant Medical Center. Police said her condition was stable.

Investigators did not release the identity of the victim or offer a description of the vehicle involved.
