This Morning: Clearing skies and cool.
This Afternoon: Mostly sunny but cool. High 33
Tonight: Partly cloudy and seasonably cool. Low 25
Sunday: Milder with increasing clouds. A slight chance of rain showers in the afternoon with rain likely at night. High 49
We’ll see clearing skies this morning, leaving us with sunny skies this afternoon and highs ranging from the low 30s north of Columbus to the upper 30s near the Ohio River. Temperatures will get even milder Sunday with highs well into the 40s and maybe even a few 50-degree readings south of Columbus. Cloud cover will increase through the day Sunday. While it’s possible we could see an afternoon rain showers Sunday, better chances for rain will hold off until the evening and overnight hours.
We continue to track a massive storm bringing heavy snow and hurricane-force winds to the Northeast. Portions of New England have already seen around 2 feet of snow, knocking out power to more than a half a million customers. More than 1,500 flights have been canceled or delayed.
Some spots could pick up close to 3 feet of snow before all is said and done as blizzard warnings will remain in effect into the afternoon.
Inconvenient Weather: Chilly temperatures today if you have any outdoor plans. The good news is we’ll be dry for most of the weekend. We could see a few rain showers tomorrow afternoon with a better chance at night.
Planning Your Day: Clearing skies this morning with sunny skies this afternoon and highs in the 30s.
