One person was injured in a shooting involving a Columbus Police Officer in southwest Columbus.
Police said the shooting occurred in the 800 block of West Stephen Drive around 3:45 a.m.
According to officials, police stopped Anthony E. Trussell while he was riding a motorized scooter.
Trussell, who was wanted on a felony warrant for a probation violation, fled the scene on foot, according to police.
An officer found Trussell found in a shed and attempted taking him into custody.
Trussell sustained a gunshot wound and was transported to Mount Carmel West Hospital in stable condition.
