The Hollywood Casino Columbus increased revenue in January, over December totals.
New revenue information released by the Ohio Casino Commission this week shows the casino earned $18.26 million last month.
That is up from $17.94 million in December 2012.
Gamblers increased their risk at slot machines at the west Columbus casino as well.
Up to $129.28 million in January compared with $124.79 million gambled in slot machines in December.
Casino revenue on slots increased from $10.79 million in December to $11.56 million in January.
Meanwhile, gambling at table games like blackjack and poker declined at the Hollywood Casino Columbus.
Gamblers risked $30.92 million in December.
They risked $28.02 million in January.
Revenue from table games declined from $7.15 million in December to $6.7 million in January.
Meanwhile, the Cleveland casino saw revenue decrease in January to $20.66 million from $24.53 million in December.
The Toledo casino saw a slight increase in revenue, up from $14.19 million in December to $14.28 million in January.
The Columbus casino opened on West Broad Street back in October.
Ohio’s fourth casino opens in Cincinnati in the Spring.
