2 People Injured After Struggling With Robbers During Violent Home Invasion

Police said one person was shot and another person received a "severe laceration" during a home invasion in Zanesville Tuesday night.

According to authorities, two men entered a residence on Greenwood Ave. just after 8 p.m.

The two armed men demanded money from the people in the home.

The two people inside the residence were injured when they struggled with the two suspects.

The gunshot wound and the laceration are not considered life-threatening injuries.

The suspects were seen leaving the scene in a tan 2000's model Buick four-door.

The Zanesville Police Department asked anyone with information about this crime to contact their office at 740-455-0700.
