Fewer Pothole Problems Reported To Columbus

Winter weather typically leads to big problems with central Ohio roads.

But this year, Columbus crews have dealt with fewer reports this winter.

In December and January, city workers dealt with 5,200 potholes.

Over the same time period in 2011-2012, the city patched 7,700 potholes.

The city only received about 300 complaints of potholes in December of 2012 and January of 2013.

The Columbus call center fielded about 770 complaints during December and January of last winter.
