Ohio Department of Transportation crews will be working on the Columbus Crossroads project during the overnight hours beginning Tuesday night.
Beginning at 9 p.m., Interstate 71 north will be reduced to one lane from the split to I-670. I-670 east will be reduced to one lane between Cleveland and St. Clair avenues.
At 10 p.m., all I-71 north traffic will be forced to exit at I-670 east. The detour is Leonard Avenue to I-670 west to I-71 north.
ODOT officials said the lanes will all reopen by 5 a.m. each morning.
