Bitterly cold today with unseasonably cold temperatures and a stiff west wind. Wind chills will be well below zero for much of the day. Untreated roads remain very slippery. The chance for snow returns over the weekend as another low pressure system drifts over the region and may linger into the early part of next week as temperatures slowly moderate. More seasonable weather returns toward the middle of next week.
