The Columbus Division of Police emailed warnings to officers on Friday, after someone stole three guns from a home.
That theft happened in residence in northwest Columbus Thursday evening.
Police said someone took three weapons: an AR-15, a Mossberg 500 and a Ruger rifle.
The guns belonged to a citizen, not a police officer.
