An Athens County woman had to be rescued by authorities after she rappelled into a 25 foot well.
Natalie D. Kruse was trying to get her dog out of the well, located near state Route 33.
The well had around 10 feet of water in it.
Family members called the fire department just before noon on Thursday to help free Kruse.
Neither Kruse nor her pet were injured.
