A central Ohio mother said that the next time her son uses a public restroom, she will be right outside the door.
The mother said that her 11-year-old son and a fellow classmate of his were in the bathroom at the Golden Corral restaurant on North Memorial Drive in Lancaster on Friday when they were approached by a stranger.
“He was washing his hands, and my son turned around to look at him, and he was pulling his pants down,” the mother said. “He wasn’t in front of a urinal. He wasn’t in front of a stall.”
Lancaster police said that they were investigating the alleged incident but did not believe there was a threat to the public.
A spokesperson for the restaurant said that officials were notified after the alleged incident occurred, but the customers left before restaurant representatives could complete their full investigation.
