Columbus Police searched dumpsters in an area on the southeast side of the city after a baby's onesie that had blood on it was found in an alley.
Authorities began the search around 4:30 p.m. in the 1300 block of Lockbourne Road.
Police said they had responded earlier in the day to a domestic violence call near the area.
After 5 p.m., police said that they did not know if the earlier incident was not related to the onesie that was found.
Police were unable to locate anything in the alley.
