The westbound lanes of Morse Road near Heaton Road were closed after a person was struck by a vehicle early Wednesday.
According to police, the person was struck in the 1900 block of Morse Road at about 5:30 a.m.
The road reopened at about 6:30 a.m.
Officers on the scene said that the man was crossing the road when he was struck by a van.
Police said that the person was taken to the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in serious condition.
Officers said that the driver of the vehicle that struck the person stopped at the scene.
The crash was under investigation.
The names of those involved were not immediately released.
