A Newark mother is out of jail after a kidnapping charge was dropped Tuesday night.
Newark Police said Amanda Jordan ran off with her 6-month-old daughter prior to Licking County Children Services taking custody of the baby.
Jordan surrendered to police last Friday. Her daughter, Nicayla Jordan, was not harmed
Tuesday night, Jordan posted bond. She is still charged with interfering with custody.
Jordan told 10TV's Kristyn Hartman she plans to fight to get her daughter back.
"Nicayla is my world," said Jordan. "Always has been, always will be."
Jordan said child protective services previously removed a son she had because of substance abuse.
She said she is clean now.
