Columbus restaurant Dirty Frank’s Hot Dog Palace is starting to compost food waste.

The restaurant wants to keep food waste, like lettuce stalks, out of landfills.

The food waste can then be used to create nutrient-rich mulch for gardens or planting future crops.

Dirty Frank’s hopes to eventually become a zero-waste restaurant.
