Man Wanted On Domestic Violence, Robbery Charges Arrested For Allegedly Abducting Woman

A man was arrested on Sunday for allegedly abducting a woman, robbing her and beating her.

According to the Richland County Sheriff’s Office, Jerrold Myers Jr. was arrested at about 3 a.m. in the 400 block of South Main Street in Mansfield.

Myers, 23, was arrested after a warrant was issued for his arrest in connection with abducting a 23-year-old woman by means of a stun gun and beating and robbing her on Jan. 26. The alleged incident occurred in the 500 block of Davidson Street.

The Richland County Prosecutor’s Office has issued a warrant for Myers’ arrest. He also was wanted on domestic violence charges out of Mansfield and robbery charges out of Ontario.

Ashley Williams was also arrested on Sunday in connection with the Jan. 26 incident.

Investigators said that the 22-year-old woman transported and harbored Myers, all while lying to officials from the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force.

Williams was charged with obstructing justice.

The two were being held at the Richland County Jail.
