The Ohio Department of Transportation put 75 crews on the roads around central Ohio on Sunday.

An ODOT spokesperson cited freezing in the forecast as the agency deployed drivers from 6 p.m. to midnight, or as long as conditions would require.

Spokesperson Nancy Burton indicated salt crews would be paying special attention to ramps and bridges around ODOT District 6, which includes Delaware, Fayette, Franklin, Madison, Marion, Morrow, Pickaway and Union counties.

She asked that drivers slow down, especially as precipitation falls.
