A truck driver dumped the trailer he was carrying when the back axel on the trailer caught fire.
According to the Fayette County Sheriff's Office, the incident happened shortly after 2 a.m. on I-71 southbound at mile marker 75.
The driver drove about 25 feet away from the trailer and called 911.
No fuel spilled onto the road, and there were no immediate reports of injuries.
