Auditor: Additional School Districts Show Evidence Of Data ‘Scrubbing’

COLUMBUS, Ohio- Ohio’s Auditor announced on Friday that he plans to release his final report about a statewide school attendance data investigation.

According to a release from Auditor Dave Yost’s office, the auditor’s investigation found additional school districts “scrubbed” attendance data.

Yost’s investigation was prompted after an internal audit of the Columbus City School District showed irregular attendance and enrollment practices.

Similar allegations surfaced at Toledo Public Schools and Lockland City Schools.
