The man in the center of a search that prompted eight schools to be locked down on Wednesday is scheduled to appear in court.

Andrew Akrim will appear before a Delaware County judge to face multiple charges.

Ankrim, 41, was wanted on multiple warrants connected to not paying child support, driving under the influence and disorderly conduct.

Deputies with the Delaware County Sheriff's Office said they stopped Ankrim Wednesday because he was walking near schools and didn't have identification.

Authorities drove him to his home on Liberty Road where he then took off on foot.

Officials with the Olentangy School district made the decision to place the schools in the western half of the district on lock down while deputies searched. The schools that were locked down included: Olentangy Liberty High School, Liberty Middle, Hyatts Middle, Wyandot Run Elementary, Liberty Tree Elementary, Indian Springs Elementary, Scioto Ridge Elementary, and Tyler Run Elementary.
