Shelters, Churches Open Doors To Help During Frigid Temps

Local shelters report that they have plenty of space to accommodate anyone who needs to take refuge from the cold temperatures.

A special overflow shelter on the west side is being utilized to help.

That shelter on Industrial Mile Road only opens in the winter months.

Various churches are also offering warm places to stay.

Victorious Life Church in North Columbus said they are helping take in people. The church is located on Tamarack Circle North.
