A Best Buy in Lancaster was closed Tuesday after a fire broke out inside the store during the early morning hours.

Rescue workers arrived on scene at the River Valley Mall around 2:30 a.m.

They found heavy smoke throughout the building.  Firefighters were able to knock down the flames that could have been caused by some of the electronics.

Officials said the fire started in the north corner of the building.

They said water and smoke damage will keep the business closed Tuesday.

A Lancaster Fire Chief tells 10TV water from hoses in the Best Buy parking lot caused icy conditions.  At least one firefighter fell on that ice, but he is expected to be ok.

Crews were ventilating the building trying to help minimize the damage.
