A person was pronounced dead after being shot on the south side Tuesday night.
According to Columbus police, a person was shot shortly before 8 p.m. on Highview Landing in south Columbus.
The person was taken to Grant Medical Center, where the person died.
Police said that they were searching for the shooter.
The name of the shooting victim was not immediately released.
