Homicide detectives were investigating a body found in front of Key Bank on Sullivant Avenue in southwest Columbus.
Police were called to the scene just before midnight on reports of a man down in front of the bank with an obvious head injury.
The man, who was thought to be in his 50s, was dead when police arrived at the scene.
Police have not been able to identify the man.
