Three communities in Licking County are kicking in money to make improvements to three main thoroughfares this summer.
Heath, Granville and Newark will finance resurfacing projects along South 30th Street, West Main Street and Cherry Valley Road.
According to The Newark Advocate, the communities will save about $100,000 by combining financial resources.
The Ohio Department of Transportation will oversee the work, which could begin as soon as June.
