Snow showers will taper off to flurries tonight as very cold, arctic air moves in. Temperatures will fall into the single digits tonight. A Wind Chill Advisory will go into effect for Central Ohio at 8pm as gusty west winds create dangerously cold wind chill readings as cold as 5 to 15 degrees below zero.
A mix of sun and clouds is in the forecast on Tuesday but it will remain very cold. High temperatures will range from 10 to 15 degrees with wind chill readings below zero in the morning. After another frigid but quiet night Tuesday, clouds will increase on Wednesday with a chance for snow showers by afternoon. Temperatures will moderate into the low 20’s on Wednesday.
We are keeping an eye on the potential for a winter storm arriving late Thursday into Friday. While the track is still somewhat uncertain, it appears much of Central Ohio could see either snow or a wintry mix late in the week.
