Police are searching for a man accused of robbing an east Columbus store and assaulting the clerk.
According to police, the incident occurred at the Family Dollar store, located in the 2700 block of Brice Road.
Police said that a man in a blue bandana walked into the store at about 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, armed with a fire extinguisher.
The man struck the cashier with it, pulled her hair and then took all of the money in the cash register, police said.
