A federal grand jury indicted a Dublin attorney, alleging that he conspired with the owner of three pain clinics to sell prescription drugs and then launder the profits.

Steve E. Hillman is accused of conspiring with Tracy Bias, 47, of West Portsmouth, in an attempt to open Physicians Pharmacy in Piketon to illegally distribute the pills.

The indictment alleges that Hillman, 67, helped Bias launder $132,920 in cash from the alleged activities in July 2010.

Bias was indicted in April 2012 on 12 counts allegedly that he operated three pill mills in southern Ohio between January 2009 and June 2011.

Customers allegedly traveled hundreds of miles to the clinics and paid $200 per visit for little or no examination to receive the pills, such as diazepam, hydrocodone, oxycodone, alprazalam.
