Thieves Siphon Gas From Rental Trucks

Some thieve are going to great lengths to fill up.

Police are investigating multiple reports of gasoline being siphoned from U-Haul rental trucks.

According to reports, over the weekend, thieves siphoned gas from seven rental trucks while they were parked at the company’s Morse Road location.

The thieves managed to get away with nearly $1,000 worth of fuel.

A similar theft was reported at the company’s Georgesville Road location. In that case, the thieves punctured the gas tank to drain the fuel.

Both cases were being investigated, and it was not immediately known if the two were linked.
