Students Return To Class After Bomb Threat Reported At Maysville High School In Zanesville

Muskingum County Sheriff’s officials said that they responded to a report of a bomb threat at Maysville High School Tuesday morning.

According to sheriff’s officials, a bomb threat was reported shortly after 8 a.m.

Officials said that a threat was found on a bathroom door.

Students were evacuated to the district's elementary school building.

Officials said that they were sending a K9 unit to inspect the school, located along Panther Drive in Zanesville.

The superintendent said that students returned to class at about noon.
