A woman was charged with theft from a disabled adult after allegedly stealing from three people and then filing a false police report.

According to court documents, Danielle Harris is charged with theft from a disabled adult after stealing from residents of a group home at which she worked in November.

Documents stated that Harris took cash from the home, located in the 1900 block of Birkdale Drive, and then filed a false report with Whitehall police claiming that she had been robbed.

Surveillance video from the parking lot disproved the claims Harris made, court documents stated.

Whitehall police said that the woman admitted to making up the story.

Harris was jailed on $5,000 on Tuesday.
