Man Charged After Allegedly ‘Dropping Into’ Westerville Pharmacy

Westerville police said that they arrested a man after he allegedly broke into a pharmacy.

According to Westerville police, Jason Downard waited in a bathroom of a professional pharmacy at a doctor’s office until it closed and then ripped out ceiling tiles and crawled through the ceiling to the pharmacy area.

Police said that the man tripped a security alarm. When officers arrived, they arrested 40-year-old Downard behind the counter of the County Line Professional Pharmacy, located at 484 County Line Road West.

Downard is facing breaking and entering charges and possessing criminal tools.
