Gas Station Employees, Customers Forced Into Freezer During Robbery

Columbus police are asking for information about a man who robbed a southwest side gas station early Tuesday.

Police said that customers and employees of the UDF, located at Clime and Demorest roads Road, were forced into a freezer by a masked man before he took off from the business at about 1 a.m.

Authorities said that they it was unknown how much the thief got away with, whether he was armed or if surveillance video captured the crime.

No injuries were reported out of the robbery.
