CrimeTracker10’s Monday Most Wanted Helps Lawmen Track Down Fugitives

UPDATED: Tuesday January 15, 2013 10:03 AM

Crimetracker10’s Monday Most Wanted was launched three months ago, and it’s helped lawmen track down fugitives.

Investigators said their odds get better every time the information is released.

Franklin County Sheriff's deputies tell CrimeTracker10 that there are 8,000 fugitives on the run in Franklin County with outstanding warrants following them.

Deputies scour the streets daily looking for these felons. In some cases, the fugitives move in and out of the area.

Viewer tips can lead to their capture because deputies tell us that life on the run is not glamorous.

Lawmen have seen how the pressure of having the suspect’s faces plastered everywhere can help put fugitives where they belong.

Two suspects featured on Monday’s Most Wanted, Matthew Coska and Aaron Douglas, surrendered the day their photos aired on 10TV.

Render Dixon was arrested on charges of aggravated robbery, kidnapping and felonious assault.

Five others either turned themselves in or were captured: Kitty Wilcox, Brittany Crowley, David Powell, Daniel Alvarado and Robert Cole Jr.

Deputies say small tips can go a long way in tracking these criminals. The information can snowball into more information and eventual arrests.

If you know anything about where some of these fugitives may be hiding, the sheriff's office wants to hear from you.
