The state wants to revoke the license of a shuttered Athens County nursing home.
Russell Nursing Home, located at 5176 Washington Rd. in Albany, closed in December citing financial reasons.
The Ohio Department of Health said the facility did not provide adequate notice to its residents or the state.
A license revocation could affect the owner's ability to sell.
The operators have until February 3 to appeal.
