Drug-Sniffing Dog Alerts Deputies To 10 Grams Of Cocaine, Marijuana Inside Vehicle

A 23-year-old man was arrested and jailed in connection with having cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia on Saturday.

According to the Athens County Sheriff’s Office, a drug-sniffing dog alerted deputies to the presence of drugs during a traffic stop.

Deputies searched the vehicle and found 10 grams of cocaine, scales and marijuana.

The driver of the vehicle, 23-year-old Bradley Diefenderfer of Columbus, was arrested and taken to the Southeast Ohio Regional Jail.

Diefenderfer’s passenger was cited for possession of marijuana and was released.
