A southwest side neighborhood feud erupted into violence on Saturday.
Police said two households with a history of arguing were found fighting on Vanderberg Avenue around 4 pm.
Officers said a verbal confrontation escalated into a physical one. The people involved used several different objects as weapons, including a sword.
Shots were fired into the air by one person to try to break up the fight, according to police.
One person was taken to a hospital with cuts from a sword.
Police were still investigating Saturday night to make any arrests and charges.
