Man Charged After Allegedly Shooting His Brother

A man is charged with felonious assault after allegedly shooting his brother.

The shooting happened on the north side of Columbus on Osceola Avenue Friday night.

Police say that 35-year-old Nathaniel Copeland Jr. pulled out a handgun and shot his brother twice during an argument.

31-year-old Maurice Copeland was taken to OSU Wexner Medical Center in critical condition.

No word on his condition Saturday morning.

Nathaniel Copeland was arrested.

Columbus police are investigating what started the fight.
