Police are investigating after a fight between a man and a person delivering pizza to him.

Police say they were called to a west Columbus home on Woodloop Lane around eight Friday evening after the homeowner said he was assaulted by a Papa John's pizza delivery driver.

The driver then took off, police told 10TV News.

A detective from the robbery squad said the two men got into an argument when the confrontation turned physical.

It is unclear what caused the argument but police believe it may have been over money.

Police said that the homeowner drove himself to a local hospital.  It is not clear what injuries the homeowner sustained.

Officers questioned a Papa John’s delivery man but so far no charges have been filed.

Police are still investigating and may file charges once their investigation is complete.
