Columbus Police detectives searched for a suspect early Friday morning after a woman was beaten and robbed at a Red Roof Inn.
It happened at a Red Roof Inn along Brice Road just before 3:00 a.m.
The woman was rushed to Grant Medical Center.
Police said the woman knew her attacker and there was no forced entry into the room.
Authorities did not release the extent of her injuries or what was targeted during the robbery.
