The ramp from U.S. Route 23 north to East Central Avenue was blocked on Friday afternoon because of a crash involving a Delaware police officer.
According to Delaware police, the crash occurred shortly before noon.
Police said that a car ran a red light and struck a pick-up truck. The car then ricocheted and struck a parked cruiser. The officer was uninjured.
Police said that two people were transported to hospitals.
The extent of injuries was not known.
The names of those involved were not immediately released.
