A man is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Pickaway County
According to the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office, Charles L. Skaggs, 59, of Ashville was driving his Jeep Cherokee along Walnut Creek Pike when the vehicle went off the side of the road and struck a culver shortly before 5 p.m. on Friday.
The vehicle flipped multiple times, finally coming to rest on its wheels.
The driver of the jeep was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Skaggs was pronounced dead a short time after the crash, which remained under investigation.
