Police said that a man walked into a bank on North High Street and demanded money from the teller on Thursday afternoon.
According to investigators, the man walked into the Huntington National Bank, located at 1928 N. High St., shortly before 1 p.m. and demanded money.
The teller complied with the demand, and the man ran northbound from the bank.
The man was described as black, 50 to 60 years old, between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall and approximately 180 to 200 pounds.
Anyone who was in the area of the bank at 1 p.m. with information about the robbery is asked to call Columbus police at 614-645-4665.
