A new Cabela's located on Gemini Place at Polaris is scheduled to open March 7.
Store owners said they are planning a weekend-long celebration that will include giveaways and family events.
The 80,000-sqare-foot store will employ around 175 full-time and part-time employees.
The store will feature an aquarium, indoor archery range and a deli.
Cabela's operates 40 stores across the United States and Canada and has announced plans to open an additional eight in 2013 and three in 2014.
