Fire officials are investigating a fire on the south side of Mansfield that caused heavy damage to a home.
The Mansfield News Journal reported that it started around 10 p.m. on Tuesday on Hedges Street.
Although the residence is being lived in, no one was home at the time of the fire.
Officials are investigating the cause of the blaze.
The city has seen a rash of fires in recent months.
There have been 49 suspicious fires since June 13. The fire Tuesday night was the first one since Decenber 14.
All of the fires have been on the south side.
